COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT STATEMENT
The market area served by State Central Bank (SCB) includes the communities where SCB has offices: Bonaparte, Farmington, Keokuk, and Stockport, all in Iowa. It also includes all of Lee County, Iowa and all of Van Buren County, Iowa. Please refer to the CRA assessment area map in our CRA Public File binder for the specific area we serve.
Within this market area SCB is willing to make the following types of loans: residential loans for 1-4 family dwelling units; residential loans for multiple dwelling units; housing rehabilitation loans; home improvement loans; small business loans; farm loans; community development loans; Small Business Administration guaranteed loans; commercial loans; consumer loans; and other unsecured lines of credit.
State Central Bank, through community contacts of its employees, officers, and directors, seeks to obtain information on the current financial needs of our communities. As those needs are clarified, senior management develops programs and objectives to meet those needs.
Currently, the primary need we find in our market area is the diversification and strengthening of our economic and employment base.
